“The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” (2 Corinthians 9:6)
We as the followers of Christ are called to do therighteous deeds of Christ in our life and that also to do abundantly. We strive to accomplish many things in our life to fulfill the duties of this life, but does theseworkin our daily life store up any treasure in heaven? If we are sowing the seeds abundantly for our spirit by doing righteous deeds in our life we are to reap the eternal salvation, but if we are passionate to live for the world and for its desires we wind up reaping the harvest of sin, corruption of this world and thus loosing the eternal glory in heaven. As it again says inGalatians 6:8 If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Heavenly Father fill my heart with your Holy Spirit to do the works of the Spirit generously and save my life from all the evil of this world for the kingdom of God. Amen
