Holiness is not a virtue attained only by Saints. Each of us as a child of God is called to be Holy through Baptism in Spirit. It is a rocky path, but not impossible. Apostles and saints understood this call and tried their best to live imitating Christ on this earth. Reflecting on our thoughts and actions in perspective with the Living word, will give us an insight of where we are in our life.
“You shall be holy and belong only to me, because I am the Lord and I am holy.”
Though Jesus was Son of God, Holy himself, he spend time in prayer and fasting and set an example for us to be at the feet of our Heavenly Father and receive the grace and power to lead a Holy life.
In this Lenten journey , let us refine our thoughts, action and words, and strive to be a worthy and Holy vessel to carry HIS LIVING WORD to feed others who are yearning for it.
“From now on, then, you must live the rest of your earthly lives controlled by God’s will and not by human desires.”
May the Grace of God be on each one of us to live a Holy life according to HIS will.
